The Point Of Being Pointless
When I think of pointless things,
I think of it being pointless to think of.
But somehow, being pointless annoys you
so much so that you are being pointless
in being such.
The things that don’t matter are pointless
to delve into,
But like a fly, pointless things always
bug you and you spend
pointless thoughts about such a
pointless though.
At times I think living is pointless,
but come to think of it, thinking that way
is pointless so much so that instead
of thinking it, moving on and living
is a much better thing to do.
And yet, idle times and idle thoughts
always lead me back to the point
of the point of living.
Why is it that we have to wake up
each morning and do the same darn old things?
What the hell is the point?
So that each day we look at the mirror and
stare ourselves and seeing how each day
we grow weary, and see how older we
look than we did last year?
Reminding us that life or end to life
is inevitable?
Darn this! Damn!
You tell me.then if you see any point in
this discussion, this life we are living in
and the life we are going to.
